Holy crap, we saw the aurora borealis!

We’ve always wanted to see the aurora borealis so this was a rather big deal to us. We had to drive to a place about 2hrs north of the cities and even then it was really, really, super, duper, faint and a very weak storm. I took quite a few photos but only a handful turned out.

I searched for a dark sky and found a reasonably good dark sky not too far from the cities at this location: 46.376630,-93.316354.
