Festival of Nations 2017

The Festival of Nations was a really cool event, we had no idea we could have attended all the years we lived in the twin cities!

Basically, the Festival of Nations is a demonstration of dancing, singing, food, with a global market to-boot. The dancing was pretty awesome and it was fun to sit through many demonstrations of dancing styles from all over the world, like: salsa, Karen, Palestinian, Lebanese, Japanese, Indian, etc.

The food was alright. There was definitely an American twist on everything but it was fun to see all the different food types we could get in one area. There was a smashing good deal where a falafel sandwich was $3 at the Sudanese shop, we found some pretty tasty tiramisu, some incredible Nigerian black bean rolls, and some really good Nepali aaloo with rice. Pretty fun foods all-around.

We look forward to attending next year!

Enjoy the photos –
