The Catskill mountains are a short journey from Albany. We’ve been meaning to go to the Catskills since we moved to Albany last August. Well, we finally went and it was very beautiful! They seem less rugged than the ADKs and more accessible. It was fun to drive through – we even saw Woodstock!

Hi! I’m just wondering if that waterfall picture you have tunneled under a small bridge? I’m trying to find its location on google maps, it would be great if you remember its location. If you do can you please contact me?

The falls did tunnel under a small bridge. The falls are called Kaaterskill Falls and the GPS coordinate for the trailhead is 42.191404, -74.070828. If you type that into google maps you’ll see that it’s on highway 23A. There’s a parking area not too far from the trailhead too.
